Downtown Underground
designed @ After5Design : October 2004
The task was simple, design a hauntingly great poster for a Halloween event in downtown cleveland. The event planners were scared happy with my mutant creation. The design soon spawned t-shirts and an email announcement for the event.
I think growing up watching B sci-fi pictures had an affect on me. Maybe one too many Scooby Doo cartoons also.

Curb’s Candle Co.
freelance project : April 2004
A local candle maker approached me to design their ad for the Mudhen’s game guide. I was provided with the size and some text. I decided to create something bright and something to capture the quality of their candles. Also, I wanted to create something almost retro in form with simple colors and simple shapes from early poster styles. The client was simply floored to say the least.

David’s House SRO 13
freelance project : September 2003
With just a logo provided and the plan for the event to be a street affair I designed a festive stripped invite with a street sign as the centerpiece. The design was accepted on first proof with minor text changes and soon I moved on to design the rest of the collateral. A few ads for local newspapers were also produced from my designs.
