Oops, I did it again!

Attention ya’ll this here “designer of things” must be contagious because he has designed yet another site (3rd one for the year). Or rather refreshed an already established blog for Cleveland’s hostest with the mostest Chef’s Widow. Okay I can stop the third person speak ehh? Now I turned Canadian. Okay moving on.

It’s still a work in progress with some ongoing tweaking here and there because a designer is not complete until he dang well says it is! Or if the client says stop. I can say I am becoming quite versed in a certain blog engine which I will not name names. Always great when things fall into place.

Please check out the “Widow’s” site. Let me know what you think. Thanks Widow!

On old classic reborn

A couple of years ago I designed a site for my wife’s coworker whom over time let the domain expire. That is until today. The site is back and serving up pages again. I was pretty happy with the design and even two years later I think it still looks pretty fresh. I have made enhancements from the original which includes forgoing the use of nifty corners and instead going with a modern JavaScript library jQuery (for rounded corners and same height columns). Take a look.

Proud to announce the launch of another site. I’m on fire! This time for my wifey since she’s entering a higher exposure world with her blog it needed a makeover.

Launched

I’ve been working on a site (blog) design for a client for the past few months and now I’m proud to announce that it has launched officially. Point your browsers over to myeverydayadventures.com to see my latest design thing. Also to conincide with the client’s attendence to BlogHer 2009 I designed a two-sided business card which I hope to display here soon. The exciting thing about the card is that it made it into the fashion design guru of Tim Gunn’s pocket at BlogHer. If you don’t know who he is there’s no point in explaining, but it is a big deal! My wife flipped out over it so it’s a big deal.

Take a look. My head is currently soaking up the kudos posted in the comments from her announcement post. I hope to post my sketches and comps soon because it was a great process that I’d like to share the evolution of the design.

Ciao.
