Design “Thing” of the Week: T-Shirt
On my native voyage of this new format for the blog I can’t think of anything more deserving than a t-shirt. In my by-gone days of UT Publications I learned the ropes to the world of page-layout design—okay the bastard acronym (DTP)—filled with words like leading, kerning, trapping, tracking and why smart quotes (“ ”) are better than hash marks (” “), why widows are wrong and PMS meant something way different than I ever knew. That’s why this first design “thing” is a special one to me. It’s not just any t-shirt made of cotton with print oh no! This one has totally hilarious DTP nerd slant to it. BTW this will soon be spotted on this person walking the cubicle farm of Progressive. Right honey? Hint hint!
